CHRISTIAN STUDIES
(M.C.S. & C.C.S.)

Beginning in Trinity Term (Fall) 2024, the Seminary will offer two new non-divinity degree programs: a Master’s in Christian Studies (36 crs.) and a Certificate in Christian Studies (18 crs.).

Master of Christian Studies (M.C.S.)

The Seminary’s new Master’s program (18 courses, 36 credits total) is intended for those in non-pastoral callings interested in applying the Scriptures and Christian theology to their church service, Christian lives, vocations, and the public sphere. Studies in Christian counseling and biblical languages may be included. The program may be completed in four years of half-time study.

Certificate in Christian Studies (C.C.S.)

The Seminary’s new certificate (9 courses, 18 credits total) is a non-divinity program designed for current and aspiring church leaders, Sunday School teachers, Christian school teachers, and other interested Christians who wish to gain basic biblical and theological knowledge for Kingdom service and daily life. Courses in Christian counseling and Biblical languages may be included. The program may be completed in two years of half-time study.
